Hiarcs. Shredder. Mchess . Or other stuff like this.
Dream about mchess in the exclusive board.
But I have something for you Fernando. You can use many fossile dos programs on any android mobile phone using magic dos box free.
Or buy the commercial version (2.99 euro) if you can afford.
This way you can start CSTAL and mchess or others from your mobile phone .
E.g. To let it run versus Millennium chess genius Exclusive or against any other opponent.
You can let it run at maximum speed.
Or 1:1 !!! Speed as the original.

Forget the old programmers, it's time to move on and embrace and enjoy the next generation of chess engine programmers.
Here is a list of programs included with the Gavon chess computer that all play below ELO 2000.
Jazz by Evert Glebbeek 1978
Gullydeckel v. 2.16 by Martin Borriss 1967
Vice v. 1.0 by Bluefever 1953
Ifrit v. j3.6 by Andrey Brenkman
Napoleon by Marco Pampaloni 1931
Claudia v.02 by Antonio Garro 1931
Jabba v. 1.0 by Richard Allbert 1888
Sissa v. 2.0 by Christophe Mandin 1867
Cinnamon v. 1.2b by Giuseppe Cannella 1805
AdroitChess v.0.3 by Daniel White 1749
Lime v. 66 by Richard Allbert 1778
Robocide by Daniel White 1773
Rocinante v. 2.0 by Antonio Torrecillas 1743
Bismark v. 1.2 by Evgeny Shtranvasser 1741
Maverick v. 0.05 by Steve Maughan 1738
Darky v. 0.5e by Alex Guerrero
RedQueen v. 0.4 by Ben-Hur Carlos Vieira Langoni Junior 1686
JFresh v. 0.1.a by Christian Daley 1603
Rocinante v. 1.01 by Antonio Torrecillas 1565
If you want yet another Kittinger, Spraklen, and Morsch engine, go out and buy another Novag, Fidelity or Saitek chess computer.
My fingers are crossed that Millennium will see the light and offer engines like these.
Then I will consider purchasing the MCGE.
Back to the Future Regards
Bryan

Unknown programs are good for human vs. machines.
But we cannot really learn anything if we compete cxg sphinx 40 vs. lime.
Instead we let it play super constellation, or fidelity excellence. This gives a match.

In the moment I am letting the exclusive play vs, the DGT pi.
The DGT pi has a hardware that is much faster then the exclusive.
It runs with 1.2 GHz, while the Exclusive has only 300 MHz.
So some engines blow langs master program out of way.
Stockfish is only the tip of the ice mountain. Others can do it too.
In the moment it plays vs. sjaak 2
I also tried versus arasan, texel, rodent II, Floyd, red queen ...
Can we learn anything out of from this noname opponents ???
I doubt it,

To play any of the almost innumerable engines that populate the Earth is like coming to a town you never visited before, go to the local chess club and sit with an unknown person. There is some excitement on that. You do not know how good he is, how he play.Chessmaster Ireland wrote:The non classical engines are for me to play against not one of my chess computers.
To play Excellence or Constellation is, in exchange, like going to your familiar chess club in your neighborhood and play the old gentleman which is nice and which capabilities you know very well.
And then to play stockfish is like getting a post to play a simul with Anand or so.
Many diverse and all enjoyable experiences.

it seems i can load some pgn files and not others
pgn files with a complete header like this....
[Event "Mar del Plata"]
[Site "Mar del Plata"]
[Date "1960.??.??"]
[Round "2"]
[White "Spassky,Boris V"]
[Black "Fischer,Robert James"]
[Result "1-0"]
[ECO "C39"]
can be loaded and then sent to the MCGE to replay
PGN files without the header cannot be loaded
I Can Live With That I Guess Regards

I have had the same experience. I expect/hope Millennium will further refine and develop the tool in the near future.Steve B wrote:can be loaded and then sent to the MCGE to replay

Plastic Lang on steroids
Lang version of the director
Lang lang Lang, the chess music
Pure Lang
iron Lang for heavy metal rocks fans
and so and so

You play with the old farts that I have constantly beaten since time began and I will play and learn from the new generation.Reinfeld wrote:mclane, absolutely right:

I received the following email from Millennium today:
"Dear Mr. David C,
Recently, our customer Steve, moderator of the HIARCS Forum, has pointed out an issue with the PGN tool. The tool could not load certain files where the header was missing. Thanks to Steve our software department was able to fix the problem.
Now, an updated version of our PGN tool is available for download on our website and at the following link: download.computerchess.com/Firmware/PGN_Tool_Setup_V1_2.zip
We at Millennium are working to improve and expand our Genius Exclusive.
Best wishes from Munich,
Your MILLENNIUM Team"
Thank you to the Millennium team for this quick fix to the PGN tool.
When Steve talks....Millennium listens.
Thank you Steve,
Dave
