The surface comes in two colors do you have them both Steve? It is a good portable. Mine is the Super Crown, because it was the first one of his that I had.

Perhaps I am confusing it with Star Chess regarding the two colors. Perhaps both come in black and grey?

Me too and I thought I had bought one in that grey surface color. The black one I have. I need to start digging in my storage sometime. Star Chess definitely as I have them both.

Hi Martin,

I have no idea how anyone would know unless it is written down somewhere as it doesn't have a display.

The manual for the AS mentions it searches around 500 positions per second
(in a typical middle game position)

Thanks! It's around 700000 in midgame and up to 1,2 million nodes/sec at 3.3 GHz. In the original Turbo-Chess
the nodes display output goes wrong at very fast speed, so I've fixed the problem in the source code and
recompiled it with the fastest compiler options. If sombody wants to have this version along with the book as
PDF, please send me a PM with your email address.

Million Nodes Regards
