The Novag Savant needs no introduction here
a legendary computer containing the first touch screen move input system
It lives in Infamy due to its 100% defect rate where no Savants today have a working display screen
Except For Now....

Steve | It is working fine now.. very nice new LCD screen on your Savant. Resurrected Savant.
By the way, it is always fascinating to go through the extensive collection of pictures on your website. If you ever hang up your green eye shade it would be great to have a record of your thoughts (strengths, weaknesses, your games against, etc) for each chess computer in your collection on the site.
"Exhibits exceptional skills"....regards,

Your post is not clear for me, the meaning. Are you saying that your unit is working again or are you saying that there is some madmen over there that will produce this unit again?
Enigma regards

I was planing on a few games pitting the Savant Vs. the TSB 4 La Regence
however the TSB 4 has a stubborn D1 reed that seems dead
i shall be employing my patented method of placing a heavy magnet on the D1 square and letting it sit overnight with the computer powered on
Sleepless Regards
