Perhaps Ron could tell us about Spracklen demise...

Post by Fernando »

As we all know, the Spracklen packed and went when his strongest product, made for Saitek I guess, was not capable of winning a Lang program. After that they went for good and disappeared from the chess scene.
I wonder why. There is no programmer that has never been defeated in some moment by another programmer, but they not necessarily go... Why they departed in such a definitive manner?

I wonder if by chance Ron could know something about that...

I knew that interview, which is very interesting. But when they say that they considered the all thing as done, finished, etc, still we have questions. Why?
Why the considered there were no more chances?
I have written books that did not hit the target, not much sales, not much reading, zero critics, but i still continue writing until another book does hit the target. You does not give up just like that. They did.
So my question is still extant: why?
