Not a bad price for a Designer Mach3

Post by Larry »

Here it is:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... :IT&ih=015

It was just a board and pieces, no box. I sometimes follow ebay auctions
with no intention to bid, just to get an idea what my machine is worth. I've
got a Designer Mach3 in an original hard box with the carry handle. The're
a nice machine, with a playing surface that has a softer feel than the
earlier Excel Mach3.
Did you notice the shipping cost to Australia?
regards
Larry

I have a Designer Mach III in this condition with box and certificate...the box is badly frayed but the machine, pieces and Certificate are like new!

HI Larry

do you mean you have the black leather carry case?
the carry case is the original box for the Designer Mach IV and there was no cardboard box released with it

the original box for the Designer Mach III was a cardboard box and as far as i know it has no carry handle

would it be possible for you to post a picture of the box here?
it is quite possible I guess that in Australia they released original boxes that were different then those released in the US

Hmmm....I wish my flimsy cardboard box stood up so well. It was never made to return the Mach III to it's poor protection several hundred times!

Hi Steve,
well placed on a smooth pillow!

did you kick out your wife out of the bed for it?

Or do you have to sleep on the sofa now? (and Carrie is enjoying the presence of the Designer box? )

Sorry to take a while responding. I'm not at all techo, so I was
wondering if someone here could walk me through the process for
posting a picture on this forum. In layman's terms, please. I have
the suitcase for the Master series Fidelity, which says "Made in
Germany on the inside of the lid, and want to show you guys a picture
of it. I've also got a cardboard Mach3 box, with a non-working Mach3 in it, which
I intend getting around to fixing some time.
thanks so far
Larry
PS Yes, it's the black leather case.

I have'nt figured out how to post an image yet. I looked at the help
file and it said I have to link it to a publicly accessible site. So I don't know
where I go from here.
Meanwhile I managed to get a picture of the case up as an avatar, but
it's tiny. Terry gets a big avatar, but I'm instructed that the avatar must
be a maximum of 8kb. The one I posted just made the cut, at 7.6 or so
kb. You can't see much, but it will hopefully do until I learn a bit more.
all the best

The avatar I'm using isn't very large, right click on it and you'll see it's only a little over 3kb.

Posting an image is easy, first click on Image

Terry

P.S. All this can be found in F.A.Q.

to me, it says around 15KB... (the Designer 2265 picture; but it's located on the Wiki?)

here too, 15 KB.
But as it hosted elsewhere in the net, I don't think that it is a problem...

Hmmm...earlier it said just over 3100bytes...oh well...

It says wiki as that is where the picture is located. I don't think it overloads their bandwidth
