Revelation II First Look

Post by ifekali »

Here are some pictures of the first DGT production unit, sold on November 14th 2013 to a webshop buyer from the first webshop warehouse batch. Serial number 010006 (five test units made). The (previously reserved) serial is likely to be changed.

Mike

The chess sets are really nice
I looked up the cost on his web site and to make a set DGT compatible like the one used in the video would cost about 500 Euro with shipping
unless I did the math wrong

Only a dozen were made.

These are best ever. Best is never cheap. As you very well know, Sir.

Dear Sir,

... we aim to please.

(Flicker seen on the video is caused by camera shutter. In reality the display is smooth as a baby's buttock.)

Next?

ifekali, Thanks for posting these videos. It makes the wait less painful. I bet Steve B is salivating. I wasnt this exciting when I was waiting for my dream German car to arrive to the USA and I waited to buy that car 30 plus years.
NExt?
What about a video about the BOOK selection for a particular engine!!!

We love the videos and the pieces iFekali. ifekali, When you say only 12 sets were made you mean "DGT sets" right? I can get regular NON-DGT ches pieces of the same design, right?
Whats the price of NON-DGT chess pieces?
Thanks!!!

Please understand I have no other DGT compatible pieces in my posession, so I am unable to show the Rev with any other set.
But I tried to include some photos of empty board, didn't I?
What else can I do? Not show my work? I'm kinda proud of it.
Anyway, with only 12 DGT compatible sets made, I believe I spent the profits already on the Rev, and then some ...

I like the pictures of the non DGT piece sets. Remember that I have already posted many pictures of DGT piece sets, so allowing some equal time shouldn't objectionable.
