Revelation II once again delayed ?!?

Post by fdimeglio »

Hello All,

So it seems that since some time, Ruud web site is no more working. Try http://www.phoenixcs.nl/ and you will not get anything now.

In the same time: http://dgt.nl/site/index.php/news/381-r ... experience

talks about a November availability (to compare with a 2013Q3 availability that was announced by Ruud on his web site).

Does anybody understand what is going on ?

Fabrice

Hi Fabrice
Ruuds site is OK
http://www.phoenixcs.nl/index.php?lang=en

I was told Rev II was to be released late October 2013
there must be some issues in beta testing

The Waiting Continues Regards

Hello Steve,

Hmm, nope the site seems not working from the west coast:

$ ping www.phoenixcs.nl
PING www.phoenixcs.nl (159.253.0.82): 56 data bytes
Request timeout for icmp_seq 0
Request timeout for icmp_seq 1
Request timeout for icmp_seq 2
Request timeout for icmp_seq 3
Request timeout for icmp_seq 4
Request timeout for icmp_seq 5
^C
--- www.phoenixcs.nl ping statistics ---
7 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100.0% packet loss

and

$ curl http://www.phoenixcs.nl
curl: (7) couldn't connect to host

and neither Chrome nor Safari can get the pages:

"Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to www.phoenixcs.nl"

Last but not least:

$ telnet www.phoenixcs.nl 80
Trying 159.253.0.82...
telnet: connect to address 159.253.0.82: Operation timed out
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host

So I really think there is an issue.

HTTP Timeout Regards,

Fabrice

Website Phoenix Chess Systems

Post by phoenixcs »

Sorry guys,

I was not aware of these problems with my website.
DGT is now producing 50 systems and in the coming 6 weeks we are still testing, but now with Belgium, Dutch and German testers. It seems all is going well at the moment. We have good hopes the systems will be sent before Christmas 2013 in the months november and december.

The carrying bag for the system is now also produced. It is a very nice bag to protect the system to the fullest.

I will post the progress information next weekend on my website. I hope my site will be available by then.

Maybe terms like Resurrection, Revelation and such are not appreciated terms by your government agencies or worse ;)

I know things took a long time, but it will be worth it..
Best,

Ruud Martin
