Hopefully even if you miss the games live entering the link should still show you all the games that were played.

11/08

I left home yesterday for the long trip to Yokohama. First a flight from Manchester to Copenhagen and then the 10.5 hour flight to Tokyo. Then an hour and a half on a train and a Taxi ride. Arrived at the Hotel at midday and tried to find the reception desk after a while I discovered it was on the 3rd floor. When I got there Jaap and Johanna were also trying to check in. We discoverd that the receptionist only knew 2 pharses in English. Firstly, 'Please wait a moment' this was very similar to the Hotel in China a few years ago. She then came back after a moment or two with a new phrase check in is at 2. So we went to the bar. Johan turned up in the bar he travelled over with jaap but is in a different Hotel. He had not been able to find it so we tried some Japanese beer. We are now in our rooms and hopefully Johan has found his Hotel. We now have to work out how to get to the event tomorrow.

Must be for massages. Probably not with happy end.

Hiarcs Chess Explorer customers can watch the games from Yokohama live. Click on File and then Open Url

For the WCCC enter http://icga.uvt.nl/wp-uploads/conference/WCCC/games.pgn

For the WCSC enter http://icga.uvt.nl/wp-uploads/conference/WCSC/games.pgn

The playing schedule is here all times are Japanese so a bit of conversion needed:
Hi Harvey
was able to catch the last few moves of the WCCC game 1 using Explorer
worked great!

when I try the second link for the WCSC match the same games as the WCCC come up..nothing for the WCSC

Clicking Regards
Steve
