and ? the machines collected by the collectors are also unreachable to
the player-people, did you ever consider about this ?
no its not so..
most collectors have one computer of each model..not 15 or 20
and because of the tireless thankless work of all true collectors all the computers are now available for every collector player to see
many never seen before

otherwise many of these computers would NEVER be seen.. ever.. or perhaps only when on sale on Ebay

i know collectors who have MANY units of the same computer.

you say they preserve those machines. they rescue them.

but in fact those machines are in a room. no other people out there.
and dust covers them or their original box.

As i know that many collectors worldwide read these pages (mostly as guests)and particularly this thread i post this message here

recently i asked a very close German friend(not a collector himself) to bid on a rare set of CXG modules for me on Ebay..the CXG Commander Modules
the seller would only ship to Germany and would not accept payment by Paypal
it is very common for friends from different countries to bid on items where the seller will not ship out of the country
in fact practically all of the chess computers i bid and win on Ebay these days are for other collectors living in Europe

WE won the auction for a fair price but for a price lower then some collectors might pay if they were searching for these modules
the seller NEVER replied to any emails trying to complete the transaction
obviously he was contacted after the auction ended and sold the same modules to another collector for a higher price..going around Ebay

sooner or later...a collector will show up at one of the many dedicated tournaments ..perhaps even in one of the online tournaments with these modules
or perhaps he will try to sell them again on Ebay or privately

i just want you to know..who ever you are..

i am watching ..i will find you..you cannot remain hidden for long
and then ..i will pay you a little visit..

Interesting, that the CC Voice plays better at 2hrs/40. At 30 seconds/move it's endgame lets it down badly compared to many other U1400 wiki machines. Try playing it at Q+K against K at 30 seconds it cannot win.

All the best

Havent seen one of these in quite awhile

Tasc R30 (v2.5) with Smart Board 30
i guess with no original boxes or no velvet pouches for the pieces
not sure about the manual either

I see this is also a ten day auction
seems to be the new trend on eBAY with high end chess computers being offered for a full 10 days
i guess the sellers can squeeze more money out of the bidders that way

Impatient Regards
