Now this is a fair competition. Is the only way to find out who has the best software.
Is this the first time that there is a world championship where all the participants have to use an equal hardware? |

Intel Dual core at 1.83, 2gb ram, 64 bit windows and 80gb hard drive. Although that may seem slow to many here it is probably typical of a large number of home users. _________________ www.Hiarcs.com |

There is a dedicated chess machine that is near this uniform hardware Intel 1. 6 ghz 2 gb ram 60 gb hard drive so maybe in one or 2 years dedicated will be back to the world chess championship if this type of equal hardware goes on in the world chess computer champinship.
