Selective Search Issue 132 Arrives

Post by Steve B »

i always feel like a kid during the run up to Xmas when i see the newest issue of SS has arrived in my mailbox

as if getting the newest issue is not excitement enough..imagine my surprise to see our Own Harvey Williamson's photo adorning the front cover!

no greater honor exists in the chess computer hobby today then to make the front cover of Selective Search

i once sent Eric Hallsworth a photo of myself and asked Eric what it would take for my photo to make the front cover already
after a long eerie silence i finally received his email reply

There Is Not Enough Money On Earth Regards
Steve

I'm still eagerly awaiting the latest issue of SS, probably due to the Royal mail debarcle.

What makes it worst this time around though is that I have made it into the mag, but can't read the flippin article due to said strike (will it ever arrive?)

Anyway I have got my name on to the front, even if it is only in print which is enough for me!

Patiently awaiting regards

Perhaps the recent winners of the forum competitions should all get mentioned somewhere in SS..............obviously to highlight the forum and Hiarcs :D

Getting in on the action regards

Hi Graham,

I made the front page and have not received it.

The conspiracy deepens regards,

Hi Graham,

Yes, very strange.
Maybe all those in the mag have to forfit their right to a copy as "payment" or possibly atonement for appearing in it!

The plot thickens

There once was a boy called Sebi his mother thought he was smelly - but being a good mother she would not admit he was smelly - then she remembered phil oh god she was not on the pill - so now she knows why Sebi glows he is the son of smelly phil
