Hello, just popped in to say hello

Post by RobertF »

Greetings,
I just wanted to pop in and say hello from Canada. I am a long time computer chess fanatic, who use to post at CCC on a regular basis. I decided to post here because I am a long time Hiarcs user.... version 3- Present 11.2. I became a huge fan when I saw IM Dean Hergott lose a match to Hiarcs 6. This was quite a shock at the time. A local master and Postal GM (Bob Kiviaho, a good friend of mine) was also shocked. I then purchased Hiarcs and played several games against the VERY strong IM Brian Nickoloff ( Recently passed away). Hiarcs won the majority of the games. I was from then on a huge fan. A couple of days ago after playing Bob Kiviaho a few games ( we won't mention the scores), I decided to give old crafty a try. THe game that was produced was one of the most brilliant games I have ever seen. Here it is, enjoy and don't use an engine to guess the moves....
