i have emailed Jeroen and asked him about the differences in his three books
Jeroen has replied with the following information regarding the three different Noomen books in the Res ll

QUOTE
The differences in the books are as follows:

GM2600+: This book has been made out of approx. 30,000 top GM games of the past few
years. Only games are included in which both players had at least 2600 Elo.

Worldchamps: In this book I included all the games of the human worldchampions, from
Steinitz to Kramnik. So it is not an up to date theory book, but it will play lines that were
favoured by the human champions.

Standard: This book has been derived from around 100,000 top class computer games,
including the best GM games of 2006. I think this should be the strongest book, although
I am not sure (I didn't have time to test it).

The books were made using a program called Polyglot. This means importing the games
into this tool, which automatically made a book out of it. Priorities are set by Polyglot itself,
unfortunately it was not possible to change the priorities myself (which I prefer to do, of
course!).

I think Standard is the strongest book, followed by GM2600+. Worldchamps is more a kind
of fun book, as it will also play the lines old masters like Lasker, Capablanca and Alekhine
used to play. For computer programs these lines might be less suitable, so if you want to
take a shot and beat Res II, I would choose this book!

so Standard Noomen Book is the best

i played a final game this time with Res II -Rybka getting the white pieces

as in the previous game...Fruit 05 loses its queen in an open board!
the Black Q has only three squares to move where it cannot be captured and if she tries to move to safety with 36..Qd8 then its mate in two..37.Rxg7+ Kh8 38.QXh6++
and if 36..Qh5 or Qf4 .. mate is delivered by 37.Rxg7+ Kh8 39.Qxf8++

it is down a Q+P for a Bishop with mating threats looming
i prolonged its agony for a few more moves

FINAL POSITION

Res II announces a mate in 9 so i called it a day

having spent the better part of this weekend with the Res II i think future testing and games by owners Worldwide will show that the computer is easily stronger then the Res I-Fruit 05 if allowed a minimum level of 1 minute per move and loaded with the Standard Noomen opening book

Exhausted Regards
