pondering regards,
Best wishes,

Correspondence game you say?
Hmmm

well i have a 2100 ish dedicated computer i can leave on my desk for such a game
it will also retain the position in memory so i dont have to reset the position as the game progresses

but i am not sure if it will keep the game in memory if i unplug the computer
will have to check that

would the game be against a Hiarcs Legacy program or a dedicated computer from your VAST collection?

Taking up the challenge regards
Steve

I don't know since my collection is so VAST I will need time to find the right computer. By 2100 do you mean Elo or USCF?

Limitless regards,
Best wishes,
Mark

Steve,

What sort of time control do you propose for this match up?

I am still searching my Vast collection for the most appropriate version.

Thinking regards,
Best wishes,
Mark

Thinking regards,
well i dont know exactly
what ever you think is best
one move per day with each computer allowed one hour of thinking time?
is that reasonable??

i will be receiving the Res II tomorrow
the Elo could well be over 2600
Perhaps yet another in a long line of Hiarcs Chess Forum Exclusives?
no games have been officially published any where on the net yet
Res II vs Hiarcs xx.x??

 Regards
Steve
