Be careful in South America as there are alot of Electric Eels and Zappa might just get Zapped by a new form of electric fish.

Hi,
Rybka must be favourite but it would make the chess engine world much more interesting if the underdog Zap was to win the match

Hi,
I agree but Rybka is not standing still, you can be sure that the version in development that will play is already stronger than what is available to us and Vas may also have improved the MP implementation :)

I will be consulting with the Head Chef at the following Restaurant he has some nice ideas and suggests that Rybka should be Filleted before any cooking starts.

You could try this:

Taramasalata (Rybka Roe Spread)
Recipe Courtesy of Sara Moulton
Show: Cooking Live
Episode: Hosting a Global Cocktail Party
1 small onion
1/2 cup tarama (Rybka roe)
1 medium potato, peeled and boiled
1 cup of white bread slices soaked in water, measured after squeezed dry
1/3 cup lemon juice or as desired
1/2 cup olive oil, plus extra

In a food processor puree the onion. Add the tarama, potato, bread, lemon juice and olive oil. Add a little more olive oil if necessary to make the mixture fluffy.

Update Thursday 23 Aug

Post by Harvey Williamson »

This is from Victor Zakharov on Rybka forum:

From the things known to me.

1) There is full agree between Rybka team, Zap team, FIDE and Mr. Levy about conditions of the match.
2) Current problem is in cotacts with Mexico organizers. All e-mail messages and phone calls to them give no results. So there is still no clarity with such major questions as number of games (there is the chance that it will be 8 games instead of 10 due rest days on the world championship) and hardware that will be used.
More details from The secret Zappa Training Camp soon!

It is dangerous.
The fish may eat you if you try to do it.
It may be better to try to make peace with the fish and draw.

Just do not choke on the fishbone :D I am sure the "little" fish that you are trying to catch is going to gnaw a hole in your nets and escape...

In the meanwhile, stay content with your recipies

Harvey
Waiting very eagerly for the updates.
Harvey, is Zappa development being helped by Mark as well?
Now, that would be nice if Hiarcs shared some of its chess knowledge to make Zappa better, and Zappa shared its Mp implementation to improve Hiarcs.
Any comments???
