Another equal named double: The Saitek Traveller

Post by paulwise3 »

Like the Partner 1680X there is another Saitek computer that gives confusion:
The Saitek Traveller appears with two Art.No.'s: 177 and 177B.
Alain already has the manual for the 177B which has a lot of levels, the normal levels ranging from H1 - H8.
The 177 has only 16 levels, the normal levels ranging from 1 to 8, and the fun levels from A to H.
There is a French website where they are shown next to each other, see
http://www.blitzchess.fr/fr/jeuxdes7fam ... index.html.

There a link to the manual of the 177 exists, but in fact it is the manual for the 177B...

Best regards,
Paul

I guess you're talking about 117 Saitek Traveller? Mine is the red one.

It has box and manual, I will have look and if time permits I can scan it and send to Alain.

No need for that, I received the manual from Hein Veldhuis and sent it to Alain a few days ago :-)

Hi Eric,

Thank you too. Without your webpage it would have been more difficult to distinguish between the two models!

Best regards,
Paul
