Hi Shaun

When the first project was stopped because of bank accounts I did not invest in the second project.

Hi,

I invested into the second project - shipment for the first 100 units is postponed until last week of May (as usual with new chess computers :? )! I will report soon.

SquareOff regards, Michael

Ah, is that what this topic was about .....

Yeh, I got the same email, then a day later they were asking for engraving and postage details. I have a bit more of a wait yet as I'm number 745 .....

Cheers,

Hi Michael

I believe shipping has now been put back another month to August but the good news is that the height is now smaller and the movement noise quieter.

Hi Al,

from where did you get the September '17 deadline? Update #14 from June doesn't show a deadline for shipping...

Hi Michael,

I got the June email today from Team Square Off, here’s the last paragraph:

“When will you hear next from us
As soon as we complete the testing of pre-production units and the assembly line gets started. At this stage we will send you pictures and videos of your Square Off in the making and being tested and packed for shipping. We expect it to be in early September, if things move forward without any roadblocks.
Until next time!
With Love,
Team Square Off”

I’ll forward on the email to you at your email address here ....

Cheers,

Al.

The Square Off Chess Computer has now been put back to September, no email update this time, just a reply to my query on their Facebook page:

Alan 'Scally' Cooper: Hi, what’s the latest on delivery? I had an update at the end of June stating August, we haven’t had a July update? Thanks, Al.

Square Off: Hi Alan,
Your Square Off board is going through some upgrades and hence there is a delay. We expect to start shipping in September'17.

Cheers,

Al.

Hi Michael,

Yes let's hope there are no more hold ups, it would be a nice Christmas present.

(I hadn't made the PicoChess connection, I'm glad you have. I think I'll put the basics on there and email you the technical stuff if you like, plus a copy of my armv7lAl folder?)

Cheers,

Al
