Really
" may need a clean up to get it working"
Oh so the seller knows it's not working even though it as not been tested

Yes, Revelation II holds the price, but eBay price is rather tall. There is a better price.

I saw this auction yesterday and was preparing to post the link when I fainted from a chutzpah overdose.

On The One Hand you don't often see Elite Premiers up for sale on Ebay....

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fidelity-Elite- ... SwWxNYweG2

On The Other hand...
we have the ol"no power supply ..no can test" ruse
and the Serial/Model number sticker is missing from the back cover
very unusual...

a sure sign that the seller knows he is selling a defective item is when they go on an on about how great the computer looks cosmetically

To be fair, the seller does have 100% feedback. These things are
typically riddled with bad reeds. The bidding has already gone way
past its true value considering it's just a bare board with not even
an identification sticker.

Fidelity Chess Challenger 1 for $600:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Original-F ... 2888454467

What would be a reasonable price for this?

Not quite $600 but maybe $400 or so IMO.
The seller has good feedback and has described it well. There is
minor damage to the playing surface and the box is just ok for it's
age. The serial number is extremely high, and could be thrown in
your face come selling time.
I assume you are aware these have collector value only and can't be
realistically used as an opponent. It's strength will make a grown
man cry, but entering moves may improve your IQ.
