Go to a program like here:

http://www.spacious-mind.com/html/c64_e ... s_7_5.html

Where it says download under the Technical Specifications, you can download the chess program.

When you have the chess program double click x64 in WinVice folder to load C64 in Winvice go to Autostart Disk/Tape Image and find the chess program and attach it and it should automatically load.

The keyboard on C64 is different then on your PC, you might have to experiment pressing different keys with TAB key CTRL or ALT or Spacebar pressed etc to figure it all out. I cant remember but you can figure it out.

On the Colossus 4 page I provided some instructions with the keys:

http://www.spacious-mind.com/html/c64_e ... s_4_0.html

Best regards

well, I mauled him the first time with 100% and 30 Second move...then I gave him double speed and double time and it played similar loves and mauled again. It looks not enough, just 4 ply, at most 5....Even me with closed eyes can defeat that....

Try setting it at 24 hours per move and max speed.
