do you mean you have the black leather carry case?
the carry case is the original box for the Designer Mach IV and there was no cardboard box released with it
the original box for the Designer Mach III was a cardboard box and as far as i know it has no carry handle
would it be possible for you to post a picture of the box here?
it is quite possible I guess that in Australia they released original boxes that were different then those released in the US
This is the hard plastic case it came in. On the inside of the lid it says
"Made in Germany", of course it's only the case they are referring to.
The pieces are in their unopened plastic bags. The owner's manual looks
unused. The adaptor is for a foreign wall outlet, but appears also to be
unused, ie, the lead is still in it's original coiled up position. A fine machine,
these units, although I've got a soft spot for the older Excel.

of course it is a great koffer but it was released only with the Designer Mach IV and not the Designer Mach III(which had a cardboard box )
