Yesterday I got a version of The Baron from Richard Pijl and today the same Mchess was playing on Playchess:I left my Quad on overnight playing Chess on Playchess. It likes to do that from time to time, so I figured why not since it's the Memorial Weekend over here. Why not let the computer have a little fun? When I woke up this morning around 6:30AM and went to my desk and found my computer playing none other than that old champ from the past ..., MChess Pro version 8. For those who don't remember that version was released around 1998-1999 by Marty Hirsch. It was being operated by a gentleman named Andreas Wutzke who was in the Playchess engine room playing in Centaur mode so he could relay the moves using some custom setting he developed.
