Wow, I wish I would have these bidders bidding on my chess computers.
But it's amazing how variable the prices on ebay can be. This robot is not that rare, there must be at least a dozen going via ebay each year.

this reminds me of a few years ago when someone bought a Fidelity Chesster Eyeball Phantom for $1650...on Ebay
i told him he paid too much and he got mad at me and left the "nameless forum" where i used to post
