Are these two chess comps different?

Post by Larry »

Hi all,
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Fidelity-Excelle ... dZViewItem

Notice the word "Excellence" is in a different color. Also, the playing
surface seems a different color. Anyone here know why this is the case?
I thought maybe one of them is the 4mhz version, and if that's the case
I'd be interested in bidding.

yes i agree Jose ep12 and 6080
the 4 Mhz Excellence usually has a red sticker on the box with the words
4 Mhz so i doubt either are that

however ..if you look at the box on the left it does seem that a sticker has been removed
hmmmmm
it is possible i imagine that the sticker fell off though..

time to gamble regards

I just checked with the seller. The serial numbers are 6080 and EP12.
What a bugger!... I'm looking for a 6082.

on the other hand you can almost overclock any 3mhz excellence to 4 or even more.
What seems like a fairy tale today may be reality tomorrow.
Here we have a fairy tale of the day after tomorrow....
