I guess the answer to this is pretty simple.
I've just installed Hiarcs 11.2, but can't see how to run it.
I thought there would be an icon on the desktop, but there isn't.
Help!
How do I start the program?

I hope the FAQ's here can help you. You need to create a UCI engine inside the Chess GUI that you are using. If you don't have a GUI I suggest you download Arena which is free - you will find details of this in the FAQ's.
Good Luck,
Harvey

Thanks
Thanks, Harvey.
I had looked in FAQs, without success. I am used to Hiarcs 10, on CD.
Yes, I am talking about PC Hiarcs 11.2
I have now downloaded Arena, and I'm up and running. Thanks again.

I am glad you have it running. Ig you have Hiarcs 10 on CD you can also load 11.2 in the H10 GUI. Just click on engine then create UCI engine.
Best Wishes,
Harvey
