!!! Me Too !!!
I am one who is also highly anticipating the new palm hiarcs as well......reading messages on this boards a few months ago gave me the impression that palm hiarcs would've been out by now, but i guess not........please......some answers to a release date would be very appreciated....thx in advance, i'm sure when it comes out that it will be well worth the wait?
Well, I don't believe there will be another (major) release. I guess commercial interest in PC developement takes priority, and the (small) HIARCS team have to make a living!
It's a real shame though because a small portable device like the T5 with HIARCS to me, and I'm sure to many others, is far more useful, being super portable, than any PC / Laptop, and is strong enough for nearly the entire chess playing population (including all those reading this forum even if they don't want to admit it).
Also, the team has put a lot of work into the Palm's set ELO ratings - this is another great feature that most chess players (i.e. 95% of the chess playing population) can make good use of if they want to steadily improve up the rating ladder.
But still the current version is excellant, so I guess we should be happy
