My latest addition

This one brings back memories of the year 1981, when I bought one of
them new. A friend bought one also. Mine broke down shortly after purchase
and his is still going well to this day. Typical of my luck.
Anyway, it was on ebay last week, ships to Australia only, and an easy
train ride to pick it up. Finally I get lucky. The old guy I bought it from had
it from new, and it's excellent condition, and complete. The English of the
little guy inside it has not improved, still the same boring monotone, same
few words. And he has'nt learnt to play chess any better either, still at
~1550 rating.
I guess I'm chasing memories. My favorite buys are from that era, eg,
Fidelity '8' level, Fidelity '9', Constellation, Turbostar432. Those were the
days.
off the play a game against it
regards
