V7 against Portorose

Post by dedicate computers »

I confess that I was afraid, because V7 was a guaranteed draw, in the end, changed would play d4, but later opted to Rg2 in move 66

Hello,

At first time Sapphire seems to won the game against Master Chess.
However, It is the humains that thought the position is lost for MC.
I'm using Stockfish and it say that it is null game.

Here is the latest defeat.
On the bright side, Montreux was not already lost when it exited its book...

Thanks for the tournament Nick, it was really cool !
(even though I miss the possibility to see other games and tease other people ;-)

The ChessGenius started with a furious Scottish attack, but the London knew all the answers. Still the MCG thought he had a small advantage. But he underestimated the attacking possibilities of the London.
The last mistake was probably 39. Dxd2. With Rc2 instead it still might have had chances for a draw. Now the black horse made a decisive invasion.
Good game for the London! Congrats Dave!

My dwarf has some explaining to do regards :(
Paul

(But still: 3 out of 5 is not a bad result for the Chess Genius.
Thanx for a great tournament Nick!
Hope to be there next time again :))
