After Qh4 the Sd is out of book!
I'm also following the game using Chess Genius on my Ppc and it was already out of book before Re2 and it's evaluation favours black immediately after this move.
Could I be in trouble already regards
Paul
PS move to follow....

hi Paul
i am following the game on the ResII using Noomens Standard book comprised of around 100,000 top class computer games,
including the best GM games of 2006.
the ResII was also out of book after Qh4
you have your pawn plus but....
Sigh Regards

Sorry for the delay but it's been a busy day away....
After 14....Qh4
the game continues
15.g3 Qh3
16.Nd2
The SD is showing a score of +1.38 and just doesn't appreciate the potential of the black bishops and the queen so close.... It's searching a full 10 ply in the hour and gets at least halfway through the 11th ply of the search tree.
Thinking I've been outbooked regards
Paul

Hi Larry,
Sorry about the move numbers but it is a little tricky doing this on a pda!
The SD now plays Ne4 which seems ambitious
I have Pocket Fritz 2 with me with the Shredder 10 uci book which prefers Bc2 here.
Will the LP book ever end regards

...and black's move 17 is....the envelope please...
17.... Bg6
Incidentally, LP gives -1.03 for black here, so with black being a
pawn down, white need only force some exchanges and will win.
Well, according to Hoyle.
regards
Larry
