Eros, please look at the above game board post to verify that you agree with the position and the rules. Please let me know if any changes need to be made.

On behalf of the Headbangers Team, I want to thank you for agreeing to play the game. I don't know what surprises you have in mind, but, the game should be fun.

Sincerely
James

Thank you James, and thanks to all the Headbangers for this game!

My first move in this starting position is no big surprise really... it's 15...a4, the main move.

I thought it would have been interesting, after the game vs Tony, to switch colors for the Headbangers and try this main move a4, which was discarded by some players as Black, who said that White has an advantage after it.

So my little challenge is: you can prove that now vs me :-)

I think that in this variation white has some easy ways to equalize the game, but I hope instead that you will play for a win, and that I will have to suffer to equalize the game. Of course, if white tries risky new moves (which I hope!) avoiding the main lines drawish variations, the game can get very interesting and I can also maybe have some chances to win as Black ;-)

Ok, enough talking now, and let's get some action!
So my move is 15...a4

Some team members predicted your 15...a4 move. It was also said that you are an expert playing the Black side on this opening. We shall see. 8)
White has, at least, some advantage and, after reviewing the discussion from Tony's game, some would say that White has the winning advantage. Well, that remains to be seen, but, what is very clear is that you, my friend, should fasten your seatbelt because you are in for a rough ride. :)

--> Yeah! That's what I hoped to hear :-) this will be fun!

16...exd4 After this move, there is a quite forced variation, for this reason I offer these conditional moves:

If: 17.Nxd4 b3 18.Kb1 bxc2+ 19.Nxc2 Bb3 20.axb3 axb3 21.Na3 Ne5

If the HeadBangers want to take their time also for these moves, what comes to my mind is that you can play every white move every 48 hours, and can consider my replies immediate until 21...Ne5. Otherwise, you could go straight to after move 21...Ne5 and take more than 48 hours to decide there, as it's a critical point for white.

Regards,
Eros.

We accept your conditional.
It seems that there may be 2 winning lines for White, but Auryn, since your are an expert at the game of chess, the team selected the winning line with the least risk. :)

Good Morning Eros.

Well, the Team spent some time looking at all the ways to respond to your Ra4 move. We had much discussion and even some heated debate.

But, the light turned on and it became clear that the path to victory is:

Well, our world-wide network of processors may have found White's winning line after 23. Bd4, but, we also thought that 23. Qc3 would be a interesting move. 8)

24. Rd4 , as expected.
