After much analysis and a near unanimous vote we play:

15...Bxb3

I was thinking one hour later, but, I forgot about summer time (DST).

So you deviate from my game against GM Lafarga Santorroman. I thought you had prepered a surprise for me down that line. :)

Therefore I was about to deviate in the next move, 15...a4 16.Nbd4.

We believe a4 is best played now:

16...a4

No, I believe only one or two posts on 15...a4 and 16. Nbd4 would be fun. Tony.... this sounds like a future game, Tony Hedlund vs Headbangers, with a starting position 15...a4 16. Nbd4. Think about it and we can discuss it more after the game. The game would be tentative on your schedule, of course.

Interesting idea. As you say, let's come back to that later on.

Good luck; let us know how it went!

Coincidentally, I've logged in just before driving to a rural area to attempt a 15-mile run myself, though I've been troubled lately by an IT band injury, so we'll see...my goal is to be back in "racing" shape by the first week of May. We're expecting a high temperature of 92 degrees F here today, so hopefully it doesn't get too warm too quickly this morning...

47.55 min, four min slower then last year. :( My excuse is that I've lost six weeks of training due to a cold. In two weeks I'll run a halfmarathon.

How did your 24 km go Turbo?

Hi Tony! I'm sorry about your run; I know the feeling, too, as I've gotten out of my previous racing shape due to lack of time. My run Saturday wasn't good, as the temperature was much too hot at the time I ran, and I had to stop after 7 miles.

How was the scenery in your race? Are things greening up there, yet?

It was 14°C, a bit windy and two hills. Less then two weeks ago we had a half meter snow, now it's almost gone. But it will take some weeks before things start to get green.
