World Championship Winning Computer Chess Software Program & Downloads for Chess Databases, Analysis and Play on PC, Mac, iPad and iPhone — Visit: Hiarcs.com
In this thread we continue with publishing the games and communicating with each other about dates and times for the games with each other.
So in principle no further posts in the other thread.
Here are the data of the participants. As we are with 11, each round someone is free. But there is a place for one extra participant or for someone who would like to enter a second computer in the tournament. I can easily adapt the scheme for that.

Hi, here a small userguide for playing with each other on Lichess.
Also answer to a question of Jarek:
Yes, since the pairing is known for all rounds, we do not need to obey the order of rounds.
For example you can contact all players if they have time to play a round with me today at 22:00 UTC ?
That will speed up the tournament progress.
You can post such a question by PM or directly her in this thread, and see who answers.
Small user guide:
- search for user names of tournament participants
- click user name and click follow. Now you are Friends.
- fix a date for a match with your opponent according to the tournament plan blaubaer will provide
- in the lower right corner of Lichess window you can find friends that are online.
- move mouse arrow over user name and click crossed swords/play
- choose Variant "Standard", Time control "Unlimited", "Casual" and black or White
- your opponent accepts
- on the left you can chat with your opponent
- on the right you can click two arrows to flip the board, the cross to abort game, the hand to offer draw and the flag to resign (click twice!) - ALWAYS END A GAME BY CHECK MATE, DRAW OR RESIGN, OTHERWISE YOU CANNOT DOWNLOAD THE GAMES PGN!!
- by proposing a takeback, clicking left arrow, you can takeback moves. The opponent must confirm to make it effective.
- after checkmate, resign or draw you can switch to Analysis board, click FEN&PGN and copy or download PGN
- spectators can observe the game by moving the mouse arrow over opponent's user name and clicking the TV symbol/Watch games
- spectators can chat with other spectators and can send messages to the opponents by clicking the speech balloon when moving the mouse arrow over the user name
- check other functions like game analysis, study etc.
- have fun!
Talking to Paul, he will replace the free games with the Rebell 5.0 - I am ready now- waiting on lichess.org Borisjk
Last die Spiele beginnen! Ready to rumble!
It was an interesting game with tactical middlegame.
I did not really understood rebels Bg4 and later B back to d7.
Also later Qe3 with queen exchange looked suboptimal.
In the endgame both programs did not know how to continue and repeated moves,
so after a few repitions lichess made it a draw by repetition.
Mephisto MMII 7,4 mhz vs. Novag Constellation Expert
Strange opening by Expert, after 1…d6 MM2 was out of book but Constellation was also out of book after 2.Nc3.
Very rare to be out of book in move 2, isnt it ?!
I really did not understood why MMII oversaw 14.Bxh7+ and also 20.Qh7+ and instead made 2 weaker and passive queen moves.
Well played by Expert in the later middle game though and endgame.
What seems like a fairy tale today may be reality tomorrow.
Here we have a fairy tale of the day after tomorrow....
Thank you Thorsten for the game and the posted report.
To all, sorry I won't be able to play more games during this weekend (unexpected: my daughter needs a good rest, therefore my wife and myself are taking the grandchildren at my home to provide her with some relief).
See U later, so...
