Hiarcs 14 position Learn file

I am curious as to why my Deep Hiarcs 14 learn file will not get any bigger than 64KB ? Is there a limit to how big this file can get ?. and if so does that mean that any new information does not get learnt by Hiarcs ?

It does not get larger than 64Kb, but it does learn new positions.

Thanks Mark, but am I to assume that if the learn file does not grow bigger than 64Kb , and Hiarcs is still learning new positions does that mean previously learned positions are getting discarded for the new information ?

Yes it does operate a replacement scheme, it will replace the least useful or unused learnt information.

It is not wise to let the learning grow without control since it can affect performance in normal positions.
