Can't Create a New Database
I just purchased HCE 1.7 and installed it today. I'm running OS X 10.9.1 Mavericks. When I click File>New I do not get the New Database dialog box. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

The enhancement in v1.7 is to allow a new database tab to be created without asking for the database filename. The new database filename is required when:
1) You save a game
2) Exit the tab
3) Exit the program
The reason we changed this is to make it easier for people who just want to create a new tab to enter a position or paste a game.
