locating database

Hi

Since updating my iMac to Maverick, clicking on the Open database button opens my documents folder, and then I have to click on the database. How can I get it to revert to opening the database directly?

The last 10 databases opened are normally shown on the File > Open recent option, these will open straight away if selected.

There is also now (in HCE v1.7) a database properties option on the file menu which can tell you where a database is located.
