Hiarcs use of time

Post by Openfile »

Hi, can you give any information on how HIARCS allocates it's time in say a 5+3 Blitz Game or 15+10 Game. Does it vary according to complexity of position, or ELO level selected. Can HIARCS lose on time?

I don't think that Hiarcs (or any engine) will loose on time, because they will make a move before the reaming time will be 0.
Wenn Null besonders groß ist, ist es beinahe so groß wie ein bißchen Eins.

I have played a lot of games, and sometimes it happens that the chess engine loses on time. Even the Hiarcs engine on lower levels occasionally loses on time. It doesn't happen often, but it is possible.
