I use HIARCS Chess Explorer Pro 1.2.1
If I try to export an open database to replece the original, I first get this dialog: W_002_King's Indian Defence.pgn already exists. Do you want to replace it?
Than if I click yes, I get this dialog: ® Error

Re: Feature Request: possibility to overwrite existing pgn databases
Hi,
I use HCE PRO 1.2.1 on Mac and when I try to export the file to the same name file I have first the osx message if I'm sure to erase the file, and after the HCE message
This is an open database. Please choose another filename.
If you change a game you can do game+save to save change in the same file.
Regards

Re: Feature Request: possibility to overwrite existing pgn databases
To modify the database, just change any game. This will be enough to replace old version with new. Saving of the database is done automatically, you don't need to export to do it.
