It was very quite long mate and i wonder if any other machine U2300 like Alanta could see this mate set at 30 sec level. Probably Montreux? or Risc 2500?

Strongest plastic machine ever regards

It's a bit unlikely either Montreux or RISC would see it. They are
better positionally but Atlanta gets better search depth at this
speed. Morsch hash tables are simply faster than the others.

Reflection Vancouver vs. Atlanta was a funny game with visible
advantages for Vancouver but all of a sudden
all changed and the Matt happened to my oponnent.
Interesting game, well documented by lichess and
Michael's post *big smile

The game between Mephisto Atlanta and Mysticum Aristarch 4.5 was a Grunfeld defense. It was an even game with a pawn advantage for white, queens went out early and the pawn advantage was not enough for Atlanta and both machine went into the 3 move rule on move 30.

As to the game Refl. Vanc. Atlanta I fed the position after the Be6 blunder to Risc 2500. Risc 2500 finds the mate in a few seconds!

Hi Gerhard
did the Risc 2500 actually announce a mate or did it just play Rxg2+?
I fed the position into the MCGE and although it finds the move in a few seconds it does not see or announce a mate
i also set the MCGE to its mate finding level and it still does not see a mate after 10 min.

Right Move But Not Quite Regards
Steve

Hi Steve,

as I did not have the info on on the display so I have to admit that I do not know if there was a mate-announcement. I will check on that tomorrow and report.

checks and balances regards,

Gerhard

Hi all,

tournament table and games collection site are up to date with 48 of 66 games played!

Remember: Thursday you will get the last update for the next 2 weeks. From Friday on, I probably cannot update the tournament table and games collection site for 14 days!

I'll put my 8) on...Regards, Michael

Hi Steve, I checked again the Risc 2500.(position after Be6???) I takes 3 secs to show the move Rxg2 with an eval of 0.00 because of perpetual checks but after 16 secs he shows #13! I am impressed.

greetings,

Gerhard

Thought I'd try out that position after ...36 in the Vancouver-Atlanta game on the R30, result Rg2 immediately Eval. 0.00 ,after 5 seconds #13 by the Tasc.
