I verified the 3 German EAS. They all speak German.
- serial #763741 and Serial #763842 are Budapest.
- serial #764666 is definitely a modified computer and certainly not a Pre-Budapest.
The 3 computers have photos at http://chesseval.com/WoodBoard/EAS.htm.
Please, let me know how I could help you.
Maurice
Thank you. You have already helped a lot.
How did you verify that #764666 is a modified computer?
Seems like the German serial numbers are consecutive anyhow. Good news.
Still we don't understand how the numbers should be "decoded".
You can update your webpage with the new information, and hope for someone to crack this nut.
We need more German serial numbers to see pattern - if there is one.
