I am not sure about piece recognition. I think they are playing with words, it is only an auto sensory board.Steve B wrote:spacious_mind wrote: Promises...promises... Lang uishing here.. regards
Well at least the board has piece recognition
only the 5th board ever released with it
if not for that I would seriously consider not buying it because of the Lang retread again and again

According to a message from The Chess House, the Chess Genius Exclusive has piece recognition. According to them, to setup a position, just press SETUP, place your pieces, press GREEN and you're done.
They also tell of a USER Level where you can set your own custom timing. And they talk about the USB capability to add an opening book (or possibly d/l an engine?)
Interest Rising Regards,
Dave

Interesting,I would like to see how the claim of 2300+ fares against a well established computer rating of 2272 the R30 has ,in the present match I am conducting at the moment,6-3 to the Tasc it would give the MCGPro a rating of 2150,i.e. a hundred or so points above the MCG,admittedly 9 games isn't enough for a precise indicator, but it would be interesting to compare this latest incarnation against the Tasc.

Interpretation
Would someone that speaks German post a brief summery of any new information presented in the video? There is probably a lot of new information about the Exclusive that we haven't learned about previously. I am anxious to learn more.
Curious....regards,
Dave
