I dithered on this one quite a bit as cost, although competitive, is not cheap however I took the plunge and purchased. There still a fair bit of learning to do on my part with this software but so far it's excellent and a good purchase.

Be welcome. I used a lot of Mac chess software from 1992 to 2011: Psion Chess, MacChess, ExaChess, Sigma Chess, Chessmaster, etc. I really wanted to get Hiarcs 4, around 1995, but I never found a way to get a copy coming here. I managed to buy my first version in Hiarcs 6 and then Hiarcs 7, both arrived in CD-ROM from a German chess software internet shop closed long time ago: Gambit-Soft. Later arrived my home internet and downloaded software times. Hope you enjoy Hiarcs.
