About six weeks back I bought a BerlinPro from German ebay. Just
tonight I happened to be browsing Ismenio's forum and thought I would
look at the "Meca" Spanish museum of chess computers. On it is shown
a Berlin Pro, and on close inspection I noticed a blemish on the lower
left corner of the c4 square. I recognized it as identical to the blemish on
the corner of the corresponding square on my Berlin Pro. What a coincidence, I thought. On further
examining the pictures I noticed on the picture of the front of the owner's
manual a couple of markings that confirmed it... this is the computer that
I have in my possession!
Here is the link to the Meca site photos. Note down the bottom is a
copyright notice dated 2006. I bought my machine minus the box, it
must have bit the dust in the last six years or so...

I guess with the smaller production runs of the later chess comps, this
sort of thing is bound to happen from time to time.
11:00 pm down here... good night all...
Larry
A coincidence...
