Hi,
as my chess computers are still in transit, I have bought a Mephisto Talking Chess Trainer to be able to play a few games...
I have chosen this model because it was one I did not have... and also because it was not expensive
But I must say that it is quite disappointing : It is weak, the pieces have neigher felt nor magnet and slide to adjacent squares each time you move the computer.
Well, in conclusion, not a true Mephisto...

Hi Alain, IMO if a modern day chess computer has a voice, it is thereAlain wrote:Hi,

to disguise other shortcomings in the computer, in most cases playing
strength. In the case of yours it seems they went cheap on the playing
pieces as well. The word "Trainer" is, of course, a joke.
