I was interested until I noticed the seller was honest enough to
mention that some of the squares are registering with just the weight
of the piece on them. This is a very annoying syndrome, and is the result
of a lot of misuse. It is a one- owner unit, and so the seller has been
pressing too hard in the wrong place, rather than being aware that the
pressure switch is quite small and in the dead centre of the square. I don't
think there is a fix for this problem.
He also mentioned the control panel switches have to be pressed quite
hard. This problem is easily dealt with.
A pity, because I was happy with the buy-it-now price.
