Typically the best place to study chess is to start with the endgame. It can be dry and boring if approached in the wrong way, but very rewarding and interesting if appreciating the subtleties. Enjoyment in this area will surely come from the study of Capablanca's games. Try looking at this article about how to think in endgame schemes - The Scheming Cuban
