The Eternal Question : How many points would Palm or Pocket P.C Hiarcs score in this tournament??Harvey Williamson wrote:This starts today at 1400 gmt. Live pictures will be here:

Re: The London Classic 2011
Hiarcs would win it fairly easily i think. There may be a couple of draws. Hiarcs did perform a few years ago at 2931 in a GM tournament.RadioSmall wrote:The Eternal Question : How many points would Palm or Pocket P.C Hiarcs score in this tournament??Harvey Williamson wrote:This starts today at 1400 gmt. Re: The London Classic 2011
I think you are refering to the Mercosur Cup which Hiarcs won in 2009 with 9.5 points .However what needs to be taken into consideration is that the time control in that tournament was much faster than in London and also that the average rating of the players was much lower than in London. Although I have no doubt that Hiarcs on the PC platform could win London easily , I believe on the Palm and /or Pocket PC platform it would be very very close , perhaps at best a tie for first.Harvey Williamson wrote:Hiarcs would win it fairly easily i think. Don't forget the latest iPhones are dual core and a lot faster than what played in South America.RadioSmall wrote:I think you are refering to the Mercosur Cup which Hiarcs won in 2009 with 9.5 points .However what needs to be taken into consideration is that the time control in that tournament was much faster than in London and also that the average rating of the players was much lower than in London.
