Has anyone else here got or even seen one of these?...

In my years of following ebay chess comps, I can't say I've
seen one, other than the one I've got. Note it is not the usual
one with the LED display, but a presumably later one with the
LCD display. I think it would date back to the early 90's or so.
It is from Tandy, of course. It has a three digit rating.

PS A quick search did find this link, so mine is not the only
one on the planet:

Hi Larry

It's the Tandy version of the SciSys Intercontinental Traveler -
http://www.chesscomputeruk.com/html/int ... veler.html

There was a guy on Ismenio's Forum who posted an Excel Spreadsheet of all the Radio Shack/Tandy models with photos and info including the SciSys/Saitek/CXG equivalents. All the Radio Shack catalogues are online so you can take a trip down memory lane - http://www.radioshackcatalogs.com/catalogs/1983/
Page 135. $69.95.

I've always steered clear of the Radio Shack/Tandy clones so haven't really noticed this one. They probably sold a good number for a while, but it was quickly followed by the Tandy 1650. Confusing that they used the Tandy Computerized Chess name on at least three different models. Your one definitely the rarest.
