a few moves later....

Post by Alibaba »

At move 42 hiarcs is outplayed....but still have it's extra pawn..
mchess made some progress in the last 10 moves, infiltrating into the black position via the c-file.....

[fen]Q4bk1/3b4/p3q3/3pBpp1/1p1P4/nP1B4/4N1PP/7K[/fen]

in this position- white to move - what would you play?
Mchess found a nice move here....which hiarcs 8 bareev didn't expect...

yes Harvey, h4! is the right move....

cool that the new hiarcs found this move so quickly....

idea is if black plays g4 oder gxh4 white gets the field f4 for the knight which decide fast.....so black have to give knight a3 to prevent this...

H8 Bareev sees h4 but not that its so good and switch to Bxa6 and after some time to Ng3....

H9 wants to play Ng3

postpone the match to may

Post by Alibaba »

Sorry i have to postpone the match Chessmaster 6555 - M-Chess 8.70 Gepard 14 due to some delay in the others M-Chess matches vs Chess Tiger and Junior....

The Cm 6555 match will starts in may....

Sorry again, but the M-chess versions 8.42 and 8.70 are not released. I'm not authorised to distribute them.

Maybe you should ask marty hirsch, but anyway this version are only running if you have the original M-Chess Pro 8.0 CD.....because of copy protection.
