Learn from your mistakes with HIARCS

Post by chavezo »

LucasChess can analyze a database of your games, find your mistakes, and create exercises for learning from your mistakes (the feature is called Find the best move (https://chessionate.com/lucaswiki/index ... _best_move). Its use seems pretty straightforward. Does HIARCS have any equivalent feature? Since I have HIARCS for macOS (and there's no LuicasChess for macOS), I am very interested in this possibility.

Using HIARCS on macOS as well. There is a "find best move" option at any position in the game (click the yellow lightbulb on the top of the screen).

Agreed that would be useful if HIARCS could identify your mistakes of already completed games. Not sure if this is a feature in the software...hope someone with more knowledge is able to reply.

Just click the game analysis tab, or lease it’s called game review.
It’s fast and easy to do.
