DGT Centaur & Stockfish

I recently obtained a Centaur and am enjoying it. I wonder why in the acknowledgments of open source software in the user's guide, it doesn't acknowledge the Stockfish engine, only Python and Python Chess? I thought the Chessbase case established that the use of Stockfish in a product needs to be acknowledged?

I think analysis is done by Stockfish 8 but the moves and adaptive play are from custom engine they have.

That's my understanding as well. So since SF 8 is included in the product for any purpose, I wonder why DGT doesn't need to acknowledge it?
