I have been playing Now, an old DOS program of Marx Leffler, a gentleman who these days work with Larry Kauffman in the design of Komodo. Leffler replaces, I believe, Don Daily, who passed away, sadly, some years ago.
This program is pretty strong, as usually happens with every program of the past running on computers hundreds of times faster than the machines they used in old times.
I wonder how much ELo Now is now...
Yesterday I played a game that I lost in the ending after a hard fight for both sides. I am not a really strong player, perhaps 2000 on a good day, so I guess that in my PC Dual Core running at 3 GigH, it is something like a 2100-2200 piece of software.
What do you think?
